In our 51 illustrious years in NUS, LSS has been a central pillar to student life in our NUS Life Sciences community. LSS is a student-run organisation that has grown to a talented team of more than a hundred students entrusted with event management, publicity, administrative and leadership responsibilities across our 6 departments namely (i) Academic Affairs, (ii) Life Sciences FOP, (iii) pDNA (our volunteering arm), (iv) Outreach (our publicity arm), (v) EVBig (our Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity interest group) and (vi) Welfare. The society as a whole is led by its leadership team known as the (vii) Core. Internally, it is important to us that whoever walks through our doors is given a safe space to make mistakes and grow. Ultimately, that is how LSS has been able to progress to this stage year on year.
