CORE
We are the LSS leadership team. Essentially, the buck stops at us. We vet all proposals, are responsible for ensuring the society's legalities are in check, our day to day functioning, internal morale, and pushing for improvements and initiatives that would be substantially beneficial to the wider Life Sciences community. In sum, everything is our business.
Project DNA
We are the volunteer and community outreach arm of NUS Life Sciences Society. Our aim is to provide an avenue for Life Sciences students to engage with various community partners. We seek to spread the spirit of volunteerism and provide opportunities for students to identify and serve the causes they care about.
Outreach
We are the publicity arm of LSS. Through this, we aid Life Sciences students in making academic and non-academic related decisions through their university journey by generating awareness of LSS events via various social media platforms including Instagram, Telegram, YouTube, and this website. We are also constantly re-evaluating the relevance with which we communicate with the Life Sciences student body.
LSCAMP
We organise our annual Life Sciences FOP to introduce freshmen to various aspects of campus life, and to serve as one of the first touchpoints for freshmen to meet their new compeers at the beginning of what would be an exciting adventure. Organisation includes a series of team-building/strategy games, procurement of external sponsors and fundraisers amongst other things.
EVBIG
We serve specifically our Life Sciences students with a specialisation in Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity by organising academic events catered to them. We also run nature-related events for bonding within the greater Life Sciences student body, or simply amongst those with a shared love for our natural world.
