Day to day and responsibilities
Director/Vice Director

Involved as the bridge between Core and PDNA

First point of vetting proposals from various departments

Submission of proposals to Core for approval

Point of contact between PDNA and staff advisors

Drafts and updates the overall plan for the academic year

Maintains morale and welfare of the committee
Secretary/Treasurer

Management of funds and purchases within the committee

Meeting minutes management

Ensures the budgeting forms for each proposal is approved and within the limits of the committee’s funds

Creation of sign up forms through Microsoft Forms or NUSync

Drafting of proposals for academic related events (e.g. contacting professors/alumni, scheduling etc.)

Ensures publicity materials are produced on time and with sufficient attractiveness

Bridge between Pubs and marketing committee and programmes committee to iron out event details

Our initiatives
 To inform Year 1 to 3 Life Sciences Undergraduates about the details of UROPS and FYP, allowing them to make a more informed decision as to whether or not to take up these programmes |  To expose current Life Sciences undergraduates to the graduate programs (PhD/MD) in NUS and Duke-NUS |  To inform current Y1 to Y3 Life Sciences undergraduates about credit-bearing internships (UPIP/FYI) they can take on to fulfil their graduation requirements |

 To organise an event for Life Science students where professors can talk about recent developments or interesting concepts in their area of expertise to pique the interests of Life Science students and to expose them to new areas of biological research. |  To address the career concerns and expectations of the current Life Sciences undergraduates by introducing them with relevant platforms and skills for job hunting. |  Buffet at our UROPS/FYP sharing. |
